(Photos By Joanne Karohl--Dragonfly Farm) Shown as a yearling. In Greek mythology, Amaltheia is the goat that gave her horn to Zeus to become the horn of plenty, the cornucopia. She is a stylish doe with length of body, depth and good straight legs. She also has a very high wide escutcheon, which filled with a nice first freshening udder in 2007. Amaltheia is our first doe to recieve her star, (And AR status as well!) and she's shown the potential to become a productive doe, in terms of milk and kids. We're crossing our fingers for a doe kid from Heidrun in April. She already looks huge!
